r.a.t.z.f.a.t.z. - referencing a thousand zombie films at this zurvival


This is public nuisance 'plus' a survival map. The setting may be offending to convinced hardcore-FPS-gamers and genre-lovers.

The second contest of our group had 'Zombie Movie Survival' as theme. Two maior obstacles to me:
the only zombie movie I've ever seen is the original "Night of the Living Dead". And survival mode? Nah, don't like it, don't play it (but I had testers, thank you folks). Having had a chat with a friend she suggested the Bates' mansion and motel as location and Peter Jacksons "Braindead" as Zombie reference...

...I gave it a try but wasn't able to build a lawn-mower-melee-weapon as in the movie. And inch by inch the references became wider. I bet 100 percent of zombie movies include a stunt, as most include more stunts, uncleared cases of murder, temptations and confusion too. Including elements like these the contest requirements are met. At least I hope so. The heartfelt thank you to all helpers is included in the developers lounge inside the motel.



2 questions I am expecting the most:

Q: I encountered a floating can of lemonade. Did you implent extraplanetary forces too?
A: For sure! But most people on earth aren't used to it so I'll keep fixing this issues. Post strange encounters and I'll do plumbing.

Q: Why is it that easy?
A: Because of the oh so cute butterflies that affect the sack of rice in china as the spade in hamburg as the sounds of your neighbours dogs gut - connections. There are lot of links between the terrain, the objects and the infected behaviour and so on. The place the rubbish needs makes the infected act more reserved.
Stay being a party of 4 instead of 5, do not use any rubbish during survival and you'll have more heavy metal.
