      very unfair map

literally there are 500 horde incomings in one chapter and at the end the chopper is literally unreacheable, i really don't recommend this campaign for one bit

      • When the chopper comes the building next to it will explode and there will be a path under the building that leads to the chopper's ladder.

      One of my favorites.

There are, indeed, some issues, but they dont ruins the campaign. Such amazing visual and details. A really hard campaign. A good looking design. Recomended.

      Great look, killed by gameplay

The visuals are a solid 5 stars: excellent lighting, creative layout at times and more details than many other campaigns combined. But....
The gameplay is a shabby 2: commons will spawn around you, right out of thin air. And there are a LOT of hordes - so many that it becomes tiresome. This is a feature that really kills the map for me - what a shame - something that could be a classic keeper. I know a select group of players want a challenge. I like a challenge, and expert realism gives that for me and my friends. Maybe the players for which expert realism is not enough and want constant hordes and infinite tanks is a larger group than I think. My intuitions tell me that the players that want a reasonable experience outnumber those that want constant hordes. I think gameplay is about variety, and it is nice to have a moment to breathe and admire the scenery. You have great scenery that you could admire here, but it is hard to with the more-is-better approach to the combat.

      Bad

i dont like it at all. this "map" is constant zombie spawn . non stop horde . killing the fun of exploring the map and the whole point with playing it is just lost .

      Beautiful maps but hordes everywhere

no sign, no warning, we do not touch anything ,
and then it said "XXX alerted the horde", WTF?
Special infected can also trigger the horde
      Plainful to play this map,seriously!
beautiful map but terrible horde spawn

Good Design But There's Something Wrong With The Hordes

Listen to what other reviews on what they say about how beautifully made the surroundings are. But there's something wrong with the horde spawn. They're infinite and the special infected also trigger them. You're also not allowed to turn around because all of a sudden there will be common infected-s behind you. Doesn't seem to happen to everyone but something bad that happens randomly is still bad.

      • Also, breaking glass will summon hordes, so be careful of where you shoot.

      • Not really infinite, just several large static hordes added that weren't there in the original. You can memorize the points that they happen and plan your camping spots to deal with each.

Not One for the Single Player

It is plain to see that the author put a lot of work in this campaign. He is to be commended for his map work. I like long campaigns, I like DI.
However, since I play single player. I can't give you the rating, you most likely think you deserve. To say your bots need a lot of work, truly would be an understatement.
With everything, (zombie farts) setting off hordes and hordes; tanks followed by spitters followed by chargers within a very few seconds of each other. The lack of medical
supplies isn't really an issue, since the bots wouldn't pick them up anyway. I cannot help but feel you designed this campaign for players who use unlimited ammo.
I still have to admire all the work you put in on this project.
Being unable to complete the campaign after five times on normal. I wouldn't recommend it for single play.

Coolest Hold-out Finale Ever! A Must-Play I'd Say For Custom Map Lover

Completed in expert realism with friends, so it's based on the experience of the gameplay in expert realism mode. No idea how good the bots navigation is and how hard it'd have been without human players.
First of all, very cool intro, really cool to start a map by having the pilot not turned into the zombies yet with you, lol. Though it's inspired from Dead Island, but it's really a nice story and the maps felt connected. Not to mention there was custom scripted dialogues too! Due to all the custom textures and stuff, the atmosphere and designs were really detailed and nice to look at. No errors no missing textures. And nice cutscene on map 3 when we were about to start map 3.
Map is well-supplied, challenging but not unreasonably. Awesome finale! I think it's got the coolest hold out finale I've ever seen. Felt like No Mercy but with all the red lighting around, it felt more horror-like. Visually in awe when I first played it and I must say the rescue vehicle effect was really creative, apocalyptic. Gotta experience yourselves mate.

Some small little things here if improved, will be even more perfect and enjoyable. Sometimes a crescendo event can be activated by the special infected and I always hate when they do that in custom map which really annoyed me. For supplies magnum was so hard to find that through out the whole map except finale, I only got one at the 3rd map. In the finale, those floating words don't feel fitting. Floating words tend to make map not so realistic. And to be honest, to get to the final chopper is really damn hard, but if you've made it, it'll be damn satisfying. On the 2nd playthrough I realized there's a BIG problem about this map that needs to be fixed if not, will dramatically drop the fun survivors have on the map. In many occasions, the horde would spawn right infront of our face at certain location. Same thing for mobs, after I cleared out an area and I turned around, they could still spawn behind me even though I knew for sure I'd cleared the area before hand. Same thing for wanderer, the director will spawn wanderer on a path that you've just passed through and cleared through, which would also ignore the lines of sight very often, very annoying.

In conclusion, graphically appealing, well-balanced gameplay, awesome finale, if the above problems are fixed, it'll be a map of my favourite, otherwise for now, the bug still bothers me a lot..
Tips for first-timer in the finale:
There'll be 2 choppers coming to you, but DON'T GO TO THE HELIPADS! Sorry for the caps ;P
