This map is No No for me
      • playing with bot in this map is nightmare, better play with at least 1 player
      • there are lots of trap that kill you instantly, have to replay few time to pass 1 chapter
      • no consistency in design, just a map design to place trap
      • final kinda lag cause CI and SI spawn right on the boat (weirdest boat i ever seen) sketchy design
      • zombie spawn right in front or near player, i encountered a horde zombie spawn around me instantly and knock me out

This would be fun on a modded server, but...

I played this campaign on advanced with bots, although I've only played L4D2 for 800hrs.
It took me 2 hours and 8 minutes to complete it, and I restarted for 9 times.
I just want to say one thing:
ANY MELEE WEAPON CAN MAKE THIS SHI**Y CAMPAIGN EASIER

Edit: It's been some time since I completed this campaign for the last time. Maybe I'll try it again and rewrite my review some day.

      Why?!

Why did zombies insanely spawned from that hole up there right after we got out of safe room and more came from the end of that way?
Why were we attacked by many of Jimmy Juniors along the entire campaign with no single melee weapon to be found and used to kick them back?
Why did 2 boomers and 1 smoker kept spawning after i hit that switch on and they kept spawning along with zombies from everywhere up and behind us?
Why did we have to fight 2 tanks after that elevator, one above the elevator and another is after we get out of it?
Why did zombies kept falling from ventilators and then chased us on that stupid panic event with red alert lights?
Why didn't bots spawn from that room in that panic event area?
Why did zombies kept spawning from thin air from nowhere from right behind me and bots and from everywhere i checked and went through?
Why did zombies kept coming to us after we killed that tank and till we got to Safe room?
Why didn't we find any ammo pile along the way through the first chapter?
Why didn't bots get the Tier 2 weapons from the armory in chapter 3? Why didn't they even get ammo to refill their bags after we fought through 2 panic events?
Why do i have to get them back inside the safe room of that 3rd chapter to make them get ammo instead of moving ahead through the level?
Why did 2 stupid special infected spawned from nowhere after we got to that electronic gate along with some zombies?
Why didn't bots get anything from that room before the moving car in the tunnel and i had to push them myself into the room to refill ammo?
Why did zombies again spawn from behind the rocks although i already cleared that spot?
Why didn't bots enter that car in a decent way so that we turn it on and move together?
Why did the car stopped because of someone was blocking the way by standing against the cement pillars from the ceiling of the tunnel and what one should do is to crawl to make the cart or car keep moving?
Why were there 2 tanks waiting for me when i was trying to run from first tank after all bots were behind because they didn't join me on car?
Why did only one bot could spawn in that room after the tunnel not 3 of them?
Why didn't you give more instructions in the spot of laser to enter the factory?
Why did a stupid boomer kept spawning whenever i pressed that button i knew nothing about in that room?
Why do you insist on making players feel they fight ghosts not zombies?
Why did i have to pass that finale to the yacht almost alone after the area of going up and down pillars and laser room?
Why didn't i find one single bile bomb along the entire campaign?

Thank you for porting this to us in L4D2 community, but i didn't enjoy it at all especially when one plays it on Expert Single Player Mode.

Hence, 1 Star is pretty fair. Good Luck
      • @Kurochama, Hey man! Hope you are doing great. Sorry didn't notice you commented here. I passed it all alone I just run away from those pillars once I clear the outside spot from those 2 special infected waiting. There is a safe spot under pillars you should step into and wait with your shotgun ready. Pillars can hit zombies and special infected. So once you kill them run out and wait in front of those doors as bots will spawn. I did suffer on this campaign and sadly had to lower it down to Easy on that long chapter of that cart we get on.
      • Did you enjoy the pressing wall traps on finale? :D . You were lucky that you could pass the pressing wall traps almost always alone. I couldn't even pass them, because special infected often waited me at the other side. In the end I had to greatly reduce the trap damage so that most of the bots could also pass safely. It's recommended to play this campaign with all human players, as many traps are frustrating because of the instant death.

A Challenging and rage-inducing campaign indeed

Well, what can I say.... I died in every chapter in this campaign and it took 2 hours and 22 minutes to complete.
A lot of deadly traps, most of them came unnoticed, I think that's a great way to show the author's creativity (or how aggresive he is)
Tanks spawned very random, one spawned right before the boulder early in chapter two fall, that we (me and a friend) didn't had any chance to survive.
Maps were far and long, some parts were grindy and a few scenes had puzzles with it, that we barely made it through, mostly losing health during the puzzle solving (which was only pushing some buttons around lol)
I would recommend this one for a challenge-seeking person, but for casual players it wass very tough, and playing with bots was the worst idea. I did play with two bots, the bots killed the infected and picked items perfectly, but they couldn't survive most of the traps.
The ammo supplies did good for us, but this cam(pain) really needs melee spawns because of the tough hordes situation, I only managed to get an extra pistol during the last chapter of all. The hordes were very tough to deal with, they spawned either right above your head or some unpredictable places that is very difficult to kill them, especially the Jimmy Gibbs Jr zombies, took a lot of shots to kill them without melee.
I would've given this a higher rating from its potential and creativity for challenges, but with some texture bugs and minor fps drops, it seriously needs more attention from the author.

      Power Station Review

      Pros
      -Play as L4D1 characters
      -Placement of witches is interesting
-Lots of spawns to keep you on your toes

      Cons
-Lighting: going from pitch black to blinding white light and then blinding red light was head-ache inducing.
-Traps: traps that let you have a chance at saving yourself is exciting and heart pounding, instant kill because you walked on the floor is just frustrating.
-Bots: don't play with them. Might seem like a no-brainer, but some of us are stuck playing with them and having them fall off the edges and die or refuse to enter a room to get a health kit compromises the team way too often in this campaign.
-Mid air spawning of CI and SI: did you just cross that part of the floor? Surprise, infected horde on your head! Thought you checked behind that rock? Surprise, boomer and smoker on the bot's head! I don't mind hordes coming up behind me or SI popping out of an area I didn't see, but when you think you've cleared an area just to get Boomer Boomer Smoker'd where you just checked isn't fun.
-Missing textures: areas of the floor have transparent triangles instead of the floor texture.
-SI can spawn hordes: first time we've seen a Smoker spawn a horde, but it happened twice on map 3.
-Rail car can glitch: we were down one bot so maybe that was the problem but everyone else was on-board, strange cawing sounds and a few SI spawns later and the car was still sitting there. Had to run around a bit and try again to get it to move.
-No melee: this campaign desperately needs melee with all the CI spawning out of nowhere.

I haven't played the original campaign so I can't say if this port is an improvement or not. We regularly play campaigns marked as challenging and were excited to come across this one however I wish I could say it was an enjoyable find. I also wish I could say we finished this campaign, but after a torturous and unfulfilling grind getting through the first four maps only to encounter insta-kills four times in a row in the finale we thought, isn't this supposed to be fun and not feel like work? That was the end of our journey with this campaign and the end of its residence in our rotation.

      Review of Power Station

      Pros
      - Bot nav is good in most locations (see cons)
      - Very challenging (Had to do it on lowest difficulty)
      - Interesting puzzles to solve (finding button to get rid of lasers, figuring out the right button etc...)
      - Enough supplies
      - Unique events (Train ride in chapter 3 was cool)
      - Good to play with friends (Pranking each other is fun!)
      - Almost no glitches/bugs encountered (see cons)

      Cons
      - Bot navigation is poor in a few certain locations, In chapter 2 it is very hard to survive without bots (Unless this cant be fixed, will list them) (Chapter 1 ladder spot, Chapter 2 Death Rock spot, Chapter 4 traps (this happens sometimes) )
      - No first aid kits in Chapter 2 saferoom
      - No Left 4 Dead 2 weapons (primary/secondary/melee etc)
      - A few areas lack in detail (areas in chapter 3 and chapter 5)
      - Lack of a rescue vehicle
      - No outro
      - At least needs some kind of warning for the rockfalls in chapter 2
      - A bug where I jumped on the map 1 pipes (This lead to the campaign poster and then back to main menu) (this may have happened once) (might need to test more to make sure) (No points taken)
      - All stats at the end are all 0 (BUG) (No points taken)

      Conclusion
Well this port of the campaign from L4D1 to L4D2 didn't fare so well (Not that i've played the L4D1 version of this campaign myself). there are a number of cons that need to be addressed that outweigh the positives in this campaign. there is always room for improvement by fixing the things that i listed in the cons (unless they can't be fixed). The unique events are a nice addition and you can use this map to prank your friends which is fun. anyways I wont say much else here. its not bad for a campaign overall.

      Maps: 6/10
      Events: 9/10
      Replayability: 5/10
      Overall: 6.5/10

      Pros:

Legend map from L4D1 for L4D2
Prank a friend of the traps!
Some place, A.I. become hacker (know the SI located).

      Cons:

      No L4D2 Melee (need)
      No L4D2 Weapon
Less L4D2 SI (make more harder)
A.I. quite unknown the path (can Teleport)

      Conclusion:

I was hoping this map for L4D2, so can invite friend and prank the path, weapon, etc...~

One thing, I found SI can Alert the Horde, I not sure that challenge/prank or bug. I send message to you about screenshot :)

      8.5

      Pros:

      Your port:

A ported version of my favorite campaign
All the traps and main features ported perfectly
      Map 1 is fully function-able
You have fixed several annoying bugs
      L4D2 Weapons in map 1

      Campaign in general:
      Awesome traps
Fun yet balanced game-play (most of the time)
Good crescendo events and tank/witch spawns
      Fun concept
      It's a classic

      Cons:

      Your port:

Apart from the safe room in map 1; there are no new l4d2 items.
Lag in large crescendo events seems to be worse (maybe needs more optimization)
Lack of ammo in map 1
Still glitches not fixed from the previous campaign (Missing textures (invisible triangles) in the floor.
Purple and black textures on the finale map.
      Too bright at the start

      Campaign in general:

      Missing textures
      Bad textures for walls
      Unpleasant lag in map 1
You can be attacked by infected in the saferoom
The finale vehicle is an enormous let-down.

      Conclusion:

This still stands as my favorite campaign ever despite the low score. I hope you can fix some of the issues I've highlighted in the cons and make it a port that is not just a bland copy n' paste. Also, if you do decide to personalize the campaign, then my only massive gripe is with the disappointing finale escape. Otherwise, great campaign!

      Pros:

      Great ideas and layout
      Hard

      Cons:

      Still too buggy
Wont make me a sandwich or get me girls. :)

      Conclusion:

played the 1.2 beta, and its fun, but too many bugs. Dont want to get into all of them, but I will definitely download the Final version.

End of results.
