Description

Lambda aims to bring the experiences from HL2 into L4D2. Nine maps with nice finale. Permission from author obtained to port. [X6] Herbius is the author of this map and gets 100% of the credit for making Lambda (nod to Valve of course) Enjoy everyone!

Removed 3000 texture and model files not needed, reducing campaign size by 147 MB.  Added weapons across all maps and added a few hordes as well. Generated proper L4D2 stringtable files with hammer. Cleaned up this and that, oh yes

Thank you! Finished Your campaign, playing for the first time in 2hrs, 26min & 2 Restarts, Expert, Single Player Mode

Ch1: Finished with 0 restarts and bots didn't pick any primary weapons so the 3 bots were fighting using pistols while one of them used katana. Kind of annoying, but anyway.

Ch2: Finished with 0 restarts and it was shorter than expected, but that tank was quite scripted and it made it a longer chapter as I took careful steps while using bile on it.

Ch3: Finished with 0 restarts and I encountered another tank, which is mostly scripted too and I also biled it too. Another short chapter, but a little longer with that panic event.

Ch4: Finished with 0 restarts and I didn't encounter any tank, but it took a little bit longer because of the hidden ladder and I had to jump on the train, then on the fence.

Ch5: Finished with 0 restarts and it was the hardest of first 5 chapters as we encountered witch and tank besides a panic event. It was alright and dead bots spawned.

Ch6: Finished with 0 restarts and it was the beginning of the swampy zone where I met a tank and it got stuck by those tunnels.

Ch7: Finished with 0 restarts and I encountered a tank that couldn't climb or get to us. It was a funny fight and it's the shortest chapter in this campaign.

Ch8: Finished with 1 unlucky restart as I couldn't find the way to the safe room although I was so close while ammo and HP got depleted. A spitter got me a few steps away from safe room.

Ch9: Finished with 1 unlucky restart as I took a wrong turn inside that warehouse instead of going through that lit path although it was clear, but the chase was intense.

It was a quite long campaign although the chapters were really short and I will just take 1 star away from rating because bots didn't pick up any weapons in chapter 1 while there was no ammo pile in the finale area, which means bots didn't reload and I had to deal the biggest amount of damage, using the mounted gun and to draw tank towards me to save more time, but still it got them all once I let the mounted gun go to jump on the other side. Thank you for this nice experience.
