Description

Welcome back to the Synergenic Technologies Testing Chambers in this spiritual successor to the "Prototype Mk2" and Prototype Mk3" Campaigns. Fight your way through a strange, minimalist world to escape.

This campaign relies on heavily tiled, small size textures to reduce rendering impact and, hopefully, support more zombies. Because, once again, this campaign utilizes scripted zombie spawning. 

I left the rescue closets in the map for versus mode, I hope that doesn't cause problems, but we'll see. 

This campaign is deliberately designed to be hard, just like my previous campaigns. It should be beatable by most people on the Easy difficulty, but I expect it to be challenging to even experienced players on Normal and Advanced. I hope it's downright hard on Expert. It may not even be beatable on Expert-Realism. 

I had a lot of fun with the art-direction on this campaign, and I think it's another pretty unique-looking campaign. I hope you enjoy this new nightmare of a campaign as much as I enjoyed making it.

Version 1.7 - Expanded the render distance in Map 4. Fixed Nav Issues in Map 5 that was causing issues with special-infected getting stuck on level geometry. Fixed an issue where the rescue-elevator would get stuck without fully lowering

Simple... but hard as hell!

I must say... this is probably the smallest file size of the custom campaign I've played so far, with the unzipped vpk file only 90.1MB, primarily due to the minimal resources used, mostly a white background with black lines, the overall map is incredibly solid, all five chapters have the infinite zombie wave event, the first two chapters are generally easy, but the bridge to the safe house in chapter 3, the final area in chapter 4, and the finale rescue point are incredibly challenging. Now I finally understand what the author meant by "This campaign is deliberately designed to be hard." As far as the normal difficulty of playing this campaign is concerned, the author has indeed met his expectations for this campaign!XD
